and your 3 year old is throwing a temper tantrum, just ignor him. You may find him curled up, sound asleep on your bed a couple minutes later.
( I know, 5pm and my bed wasn't made, I'm such a slacker)

Thanks for your comment about Nikon-that just serves to solidify my desire for a Nikon. I've been taking pics with a Canon (I do NOT profess to be professional) and Jen & I were discussing the pros and cons. I'm having focusing issues and she told me that is typical of Canon lenses. She's thinking of switching to Nikon too.
